Its very unlikely that you would get our own Royal Air force spening what little funds they have modifying a car for promotional purposes but in the good old US of A Uncle Sam has been busy with the endless war chest of Dollars that they have available to spec up not one but two heavily modified Ford Mustang cars. In a collaboration with hit tv show ‘Pimp my ride!’ the Air force has splashed the cash to use as a promotional idea to entice more young Americans into their ranks. The x-1 Mustange has been coloured in matt white paint and has had a pumped up body kit fitted over huge alloy wheels. The Lamborghini doors open up to reveal a jet- fighter inspired cabin to wow those potential recruits to the cause. Galpin Auto sports – who have knocked these monsters together have also made a Dodge Challenger with a radar absorbing paint finish and carbon fibre exterior trim to be the dark to the Mustangs light…the supreme battle!No headlights are required in this car as it has been set up with both thermal and night vision. These two wont be in any showrooms though but sure to be seen all over the US at promotional events throughout the year……i cant help but wonder why they havn’t got any missile launchers on though?
