Renault Clio Gordini
Renault are starting the fightback in the hot hatch wars with the news that they will be releasing a Clio model with the Gordini branding to go alongside the Twingo 133. Based upon the Renaultsport models in the range – Renault will widen the range of colours from the Malta Blue and white stripes flag bearer to include Pearlescent Black and White and a Solid Glacier White option too. Gordini 17″ alloy wheels and gloss black paint on the bumpers will also feature on the outside. The interior trim will see Black and Blue leather, Gordini badging, floor matts and other standard features such as cruise control, keyless entry, auto wipers and lights, climate control and also upgraded stereo. The Renault Clio Gordini will be mechanically identical to the Renaultsport Clio 200 with a 197bhp engine, brembo front brakes and sports or Cup chassis. Look to pay £1000 over the standard price on this model and it will be available from May.
