French car maker Peugeot is seeing the results of the excellent receptions its three new 2010 models have received with the announcement that the companies market share for September 2010 increased yet again and that sales so far are up 12.7%.
Peugeot have seen the improvement not only off the back of the three models – The Peugeot RCZ, 3008 and 7 seater Peugeot 5008 but also but constant sales of the existing 107 and 207 models. One of the areas to consider also is the Just add fuel concept that they have implemented which lets a customer buy a car and then one monthly payment covers all motoring costs other than putting in diesel or petrol and this has had a good level of uptake. Since its launch in June 2010 the RCZ model has now sold 1450 units and the 3008 has hit the 10,000 barrier for 2010.
