Porsche 911 caught on camera whilst in testing on the roads.
Free from disguise on a public road in Germany, the new long awaited Porsche 911 has been spotted.
The firms designers have changed the cars shape adding sharper looking lights at the rear, the front is different as-well, there is a new bumper plus different looking headlamps, the lights look as if they have been modelled after a 918 Spyder concept car which was unveiled at last year’s Geneva motor show.
the car also as a new indicator arrangement and modified bonnet opening, this is meant to make the car seem more aerodynamic. The mirrors on the side have been moved to the doors instead of on the wing.
The Porsche 911 has been known not to make dramatic changed with each model, however the drivers can expect a dramatic change in luxury, with new functions revealed inside.Sources reveal this includes a Panamera-style centre console, and new leather trims.
Although the rear suspension remains unchanged, the car shares it front suspension and steering set up with the Boxster and cayman.
The new model will continue to give Porsche’s's PASM damper system, which gives drivers a choice between a series of different driving models.
The current Porsche 911 will have the same engine as the new model however what the new 911 will have is a direct injection fuel system and Porsche are offering stop and start that promises to improve fuel economy by as much as 12%. Power upgrades will be available aswell. The Motor will have a six speed manual gearbox and the seven speed PDK will be made optional.
