The new Vauxhall GTC Coupe model has been given the green light for a high performance VXR model and this should see the brand regain lost ground against Renault and Ford in the hot hatch wars. This new model will have an impressive 295bhp petrol turbo charged engine and should propel the Vauxhall along very quickly. The production models is also expected to be identical to the Concept GTC Paris that was on display and had tails wagging at the French capital cities motor show. This means 20 inch alloy wheels, race styled bucket seats and eye catching Red paintwork. The FlexRide system that gives three driving modes at the push of a button will be utilised and on this occasion the car will get a unique VXR setting too! With the new Ford Focus ST thought to be available next year it should be a good 2012 for petrol heads (Providing the world doesn’t end!)
