The news just in is that the Focus ST model is now very close to joining its standard sibling and with such good sales from the previous edition it should be certain that this latest performance model will sell in big numbers. Ford are anticipating that the newcomer will be ready for sale by the start of next year so what can we expect? Well details are still a little sketchy but the engine has now shifted to the use of a 2.0 litre EcoBoost with 247 bhp as opposed to the fuel heavy 2.5 used in previous Ford Focus ST models. One of the most impressive points of the Focus ST was the usage of proper Recaro front seats and the new model will have the fitment of these lower down and offer additional support to the driver.
