The latest generation of Ford models continues to roll out and hot on the heels of the new shape Ford Focus model is the range topping Fiesta model in the form of the Fiesta ST. Entering a packed market that includes the Vauxhall Corsa VXR et all the new Fiesta will have a high powered 1.6 litre turbocharged engine with direct injection Eco Boost set up giving at least 200bhp with 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds! The new Fiesta looks set to receive the same front grille as the impressive Focus ST thats due out later on this year and it will also have several other impressive visual features such as roof spoiler, rear diffuser and two exhaust pipes. Ford have also pumped out the wheel arches, splattered it in ST badging and then thrown in a splash of bright colours. There’s no girly auto option on this one either as its a six speed box all the way and even a fuel efficiency of at least 40mpg. There is the usual suspects of uprated brakes, stiffer suspension and Recaros on the interior but those thinking of placing an order will need to wait till at least mid 2012 for the call from the dealership!
