Maserati Plans New Quattroporte and Levante for bad credit cars customers
Just a little over a year to go and Maserati will reveal a new model to add to its fast growing range. The new sedan is expected to go head-to-head against the higher trim BMW 5-series and also the Jaguar XF and while those UK motorists that might have suffered with poor credit in the past the good news is that MSG Cars offer bad credit cars to a good majority of applicants.
Rumoured to be named the Levante (codenamed M157), the new sedan will make its public appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September next year. It will follow closely behind the footsteps of the brand new Quattroporte which will only be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show next year in January.
The Levante will sit below the Quattroporte, as the latter is pushed up north to the luxury market in order to make space for the Levante in the Maserati range of cars. The upcoming generation of the Quattroporte which is given the codename M156, will increase in size and also price. It is known that the car will be 5.2 meters in length.
Not much is known about the architecture of the two new cars, but it is understood that both cars will be based on a thoroughly revised platform of the rear-wheel drive Chrysler 300.
The Levante will still have the same 3052mm wheelbase like the Chrysler 300 but the Quattroporte will use a stretched version of it.
Shown above is the image of the new Levante prototype using the same bodyshell as the current Quattroporte. Styling for both the Levante and the Quattroporte is now done in-house instead of relying on Pininfarina. It is expected that the revised version of the Kubang SUV concept’s front end from last year will make it through to the new sedans.
Engine choices for both cars include petrol V8 engines, as well as petrol and diesel V6s reserved for the Levante. The only gearbox available is the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission but getting pre approved has never been easier with most applications taking only a few minutes and your bad credit cars decision will be available within the hour!
