The Lotus returns! 2012 will see the Lotus team returning to the Le Mans race with an all new LMP2 vehicle which is under development currently and should be on the track for 2011. This looks like being a busy period for Lotus as they are also set to showcase a new GT2 race car based on one of its Paris Motor show road cars possibly the Elite and will also feature in the Indycar 2011 series. The Lotus driving Academy also looks set to start in 2011 with expansion of the Hethel rack facility which will be able to cater for upto 24 cars at any one time and will be able to offer F1 Testing.The LDA will also be set up in Eastern Europe, UAE, USA, Japan,Malaysia and Russia. This will allow customers to test drive Lotus products on the track and will also develop racing drivers skills.
