American 4×4 favorite Jeep have an all new Diesel engine for the Patriot model and has come from partner company Mercedes Benz in the form of a 2.2 CRD engine to replace the 2.0 litre version previously used from VW. Power will go up by 23bhp that results in a top speed of 125mph and 0-60 mph of 10.7 seconds and impressive fuel economy figures of 42.8mpg. Four different models will be in the range – Sport, Limted, Sport + and Overland – standard features on each model include hill start assist and active head restraints. The Sport + model adds cruise control, window tints and Blue tooth hands free kit. Overland has the highest spec and features leather interior, 18 inch alloy wheels and park assist. The Jeep Patriot model starts at £14,995 and is available to order asap.
