Jaguar have released an improved version of the XKR in the form of the XKR-S making it now the fastest and most powerful production Jaguar ever built – some title! Hot on the heels of the Audi and even Porsche offerings this 550bhp Supercharged monster has been designed to raise the XKR bar even higher. With a 0-60 mph time of only 4.2 seconds available to drivers it will be surprising if this model doesn’t sell out instantly. An interesting fact for those geeks out there is that this Big Cat reaches 186mph which is an impressive 12mph more than the next best option of the XKR Speed Pack model. Those with fat wallets can expect to get a new front end nose with twin air scoops above the grille and an improved Racing type rear spoiler. Jaguar haven’t left out the ride either with the suspension coming in for some special tweaks that no doubt will only become noticeable at rapid cornering speeds. Fear not if you haven’t quite saved enough funds up yet as the model will be a permanent fixture on the Jaguar model range and wont be a Limited Edition – though Jag expect only 100 units per year to be retailed.
