If you are in the market for Car Finance Bad Credit motor and cant decide what option to go for this is a great Hot Hatch option for you.
Recently, we showed you exclusive spy photos of the new Renault sport Clio, but now the wraps are taken off and the official image of the new Renaultsport Clio has been revealed, along with the details of it.
It has been twelve long years after the first Clio 172 rolled out of the factory and UK has now become the key market for Renaultsport so this new car does have to measure up.
But the new Renaultsport Clio does definitely look the part with the front bumper getting treatment to style it a lot more aggressively and its air intakes are so huge it looks like it could suck small animals inside. LED daytime running lights adorn the top part of the front bumper. The new bodykit on the new Clio comprises of bigger side skirts, a rear wing and also a rear diffuser.
We mentioned before that the Renaultsport Clio would come offered only as a five-door but for many Car Finance Bad Credit applicants this is more than sufficient. At first glance, the spy photo of the prototype as well as in the picture above makes the car look as if it had three doors. But look closely though, an you will see the door handles for the rear door are hidden in the C-pillars, just like the Alfa Romeo cars.
The engine in the production model is also the smaller turbocharged 1.6-liter. Gone is the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine. The new Clio is powered by a turbocharged engine which is 20% smaller in capacity but a lot more efficient and powerful.
Whilst the previous Clio only had 197bhp, the new turbocharged engine makes 210bhp. The smaller turbocharged engine also makes the car a tad cheaper to run. Fuel economy is up to 40mpg from the previous 34.4mpg and CO2 emissions have been cut from 190g/km to 150g/km.
The new Renaultsport Clio will be finally making its official debut together with the fourth generation Clio at the Paris Motor Show happening in September. When it does hit the showrooms in early 2013, there will be two versions of the Renaultsport models to be offered. For the standard one, the price should start at about £19,000. The stripped-out Cup version will cost £18,000.
