The American car manufacturer Dodge have announced that they will no longer be selling vehicles in the UK with the removal of the Dodge Journey model from the price lists. In recent months Dodge have also removed the other poor selling models – the Caliber and the Nitro due to poor sales levels. Dodge is actually owned by Chrysler which in turn is owned by Fiat so there is set to be some major restructuring. Lancia are set to relaunch under the Chrysler branding and will take advantage of the Chrysler network already in place. It’s still up in the air as to whether the brand new 2012 model Viper will be released in the UK with most bets being placed on it be an unofficial car import or sold through the Chrysler chain. The Dodge Nitro has been one of our bigger sellers so I’m sure that this news won’t effect those looking for used vehicles which offer excellent value for money.
