For those customers looking for a contract hire car or van who have had bad credit problems in the past then you have come to the right place with MSG. Bad credit contract hire deals through ourselves typically last for 4 years with the road tax being included for every year of the term. We have a large variety of stock cars available at any one time with most models covered including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Ford and Vauxhall. Every Bad credit contract hire deal will require a 4 month initial payment and also a document fee payable to the finance company. Bad credit can mean many things these days but usually it will relate to problems experienced with previous finance accounts such as credit cards, loans, mortgages and other hire purchase such as cars and furniture. Many of our customers may have experienced just a few late payments and so reduced their overall credit score – others may have been declared bankrupt. You can be rest assured that we can cover the entire spectrum of bad credit problems you are likely to have experienced.

Can i choose any car?

At MSG we can typically offer from many of the major car manufacturers -with many popular models and even offer choice of colour. Like standard ‘prime’ leasing we can also offer to lease you any car for sale in the UK and you could even select the specification and colour from the factory. Once we have confirmed the price and the contract hire deal is approved we simply arrange payment to the dealership for the car and the finance company then take your monthly lease payments in the normal way.

What about Insurance?

The insurance for the car is down to yourself so you are free to shop around as you would do normally. The insurance cover needs to be fully comprehensive in all cases.

To proceed to see if you can qualify for our bad credit contract hire please give us a call on 08458385919 or complete an online application today.

This is a factor that many UK customers come across but what does it actually mean? Well most UK lenders will check your personal details against those held by the main credit reference agencies such as Equifax and Experian to look for any bad credit. They hold data on every UK citizen who has ever had any form of credit – this can range from a mobile telephone, bank loan, car finance or current bank account. The information held on record will usually cover the last 12 months period and instantly highlights any instances where you might have missed or made a late payment on any of your currently running or expired credit agreements – this can be seen as bad credit and contributes greatly to a low credit score. Each lender will use this info in their own way to make up a risk score against your application. A good way to describe this would be to imagin that everyone starts on a score of a thousand and will loose points for showing certain behaviour or traits on their credit file – any bad credit will obviously reduce the total credit score. This can include the obvious missed payments or general slow payment history on accounts with each instance over the last year causing a reduction in points. The finance company will also look at your present borrowing level and will give you a grade for how much you already owe on credit cards, loans, mortgages and other credit. If you have lots of existing credit then this will also go some way to reducing your actual credit score too.

Another important part of building up your profile and often an area that leads to a low credit score is your address history. The lender will tend to prefer to give money to someone who has been at the same address for some time as this shows security and that they would be able to contact or get in touch with you and that you aren’t going to run off owing them monies. They also like to see if you own your own home too as this shows that you are settled at you address and not likely to suddenly move in a hurry. For non home owners this isn’t necessarily a problem but they will like to be able to trace you at all of your previous addresses – usually by checking the votors roll. A low credit score can be caused sometimes by simply not being registered to vote and many high street funders will give you an instant decline for that reason alone. If you are a renter and have moved every six months this can sometimes flag up as a potential fraud behaviour pattern and they would need to satisfy themselves that nothing underhand was taking place. Obvously if you were on the votors roll and you had updated the finance companys you dealt with like your bank each time you moved then it should all be documented.

Some of the main factors in having a low credit score from bad credit are the instances where you might have found repayment over a longer period a difficulty. If for instance you happen to be late making an installment three months in a row then a note will be placed on your credit file called a default notice. This will stay on record for three years time and can have a considerable effect in reducing you total score. Another major one that we come across is the County court Judgement or CCJ which again will be on file for 6 months time. This is usually the next stage after a default if the account is in arrears as the lender may take you to court to have the amount owed put infront of the county court. This usually means that your finance agreement has been terminated and you will then have to make suitable arrangements to repay the outstanding balance via the court. This will also show as being unpaid on your credit score until it has been paid in full or satisfied. Once it has been settled then it will be 6 years until it is removed causing long term damage and resulting in a low credit score. One of the major factors that you may have on your file that causes a low credit score will be Bankruptcy. This is something that will stay on record for 6 years but after one year you will be a discharged bankrupt so we will be able to fund a vehicle for you no problem.

We are all familiar with the term ‘credit rating’ but how many actually know what it means. Each lender that offers some form of finance such as bank loans, creditcards, mobile phones and car credit will have their own cut off score at which they will decline applications. This can be related to how much credit you presently have taken up against your annual earnings such as number of credit cards or if you have more than one loan showing on your file. Also your credit rating can be effected if you have any accounts that you have made late payments on. Your credit file has a record of usually the last twelve months repayments on any accounts so any potential lender will be able to see straight away if you have any patterns with being late or missing monthly instalments. If you think of it as a system where any negative items such as late or missed payments will reduce your overall score then you can start to understand hlow a credit rating works.

The idea that there is such a thing as a credit rating blacklist is also an urban myth as no such system exists. What happens is that each individual finance company or lender will have a certain requirement for lending – a cut off point if this makes sense. So what one company has on their systems as a bad risk or below standard scoring another lender may well have one that is different. Remember the actual credit rating system that is used is designed to work out which applications will make the funder money as that is what its all about isn’t it? If they look at your application it may well be that due to previous defaults on other agreements it might make you appear to be a high risk candidate to lend to. In 2009 this has been effected also by the ‘credit crunch’ as banks and car finance companys tighten up their lending restrictions and so those who would normally have been approved without a problem are finding that they are being declined. Recently the lenders have also started to share further information that includes the amount that you repay on your credit card each month. This will allow them to see if you make a repayment in full or if the minimum payment is made instead.

With MSG leasing we operate on a Non status basis so the finance companies that we use will look at your credit rating but use your present situation to look at your credit worthyness rather than the past. This just means that they will look at your income and outgoings but wont judge you on your credit rating to make a decision. The items that we may require for some cases will simply be two months bank statements and proof of identity also.

Car leasing is one of the areas of the motor industry in which more and more of the population are looking to fund their new car and van purchases. At MSG we are able to offer the benefit of leased vehicles to those who would normally struggle with the mainstream leasing companies. If you have ever applied for a car lease and been declined you will fully know that once one of these companies realise that they cant get your business they suddenly dont want to know and will very rarely point you in the right direction. The reasons for being declined can vary and is mentioned in some of the other articles on this website. For those who have what is generally termed as bad credit leasing agreements the only real differences between this and a standard car lease is the initial payment. With high street car leasing you will pay three times the monthly repayment amount before the car is delivered but with any bad credit leasing this increases to 4 times. This is seen as security by the finance company and covers your first months payment also. One month after the vehicle is delivered your direct debit for the regualr amount will commence.

The length of time that the car lease runs for will be either three or four years time and the annual mileage is typically agreed to be set at 15k a year. All cars will include road tax for every year of the agreement and will be supplied with the remainder of the manufacturers warranty also. Car leasing doesn’t mean that you have to choose only a narrow selection of vehicles either as you will be able to choose from any UK car or van. Just because the agreement is for bad credit leasing we can still offer you the choice – right down to the actual colour of the vehicle, the optional extras and even the wheels. If there is a car that you have seen – then we can fund it for you and set you up onto a contract hire agreement. With a bad credit car leasing contract you will usually find that in order to bring the on the road costs down we will source you a car from one of our dealerships.

Please be assured that even though high-street and typical finance companies would think it bad if you had a lower than avarage credit score or suffered with a CCJ,default, bankruptcy or IVA – we here at MSG will be able to offer you guaranteed approval on car leasing. Bad items such as those mentioned will only effect a normal application and our funders dont assess y0ur application in the same way because they only look at your present circumstances and if you can afford the payments. Please give us a call today to discuss further and one of our consultants will be happy to explain why things aren’t as bad as you may think.

If you are a business owner or are self employed and need help in replacing your old works van then we can help at MSG with our Non status van leasing and guaranteed van finance. Non status means that it isn’t dependent upon your financial history to secure any lending but will go on your present situation. We can offer guaranteed van finance on any UK make or model so please give us a call to discuss further. The reason we can guaranteed finance is because the finance companies that we work with will look at your present situation and not your past. Put simply we offer a 99% acceptance rate with one of our funders and are highly confident that we can offer you a van leasing contract without delay.

We have a number of different options for you to take your new van under and they include; Non status van leasing, lease purchase, hire purchase or van loan and standard finance. One of the more popular options we can offer is to take your van over a 5 year contract – with you retaining ownership at the end and nothing else to pay. This is with one of our most lenient lenders so we can offer guaranteed van finance with them. Another of the funders we use can give you your van on what we term a Non status van lease agreement which refers to the fact that it doesn’t take your past circumstances into account but looks at your ability to pay. We have customers at present who are for example paying an IVA at the same time and this would normally mean there would be no way forward with typical car leasing companies.Msg on the other hand are more than happy to help you are would be able to place you on a 3 or 4 year van lease and even set it up so you can pay a fixed sum at the end to keep the van.The advantages with taking out a non status van leasing agreement is that you dont have to worry anything about depreciation where the value of the asset goes down. You can simply hand back at the end and order a new one!

Bad credit problems such as bankruptcy,CCJ’s , Iva or defaults should not effect your ability to obtain a guaranteed van finance acceptance from us such as with Non status van leasing. We are used to dealing with people who the standard van leasing companies turn away and so fully understand the reasons why you might have been declined or rejected for finance.

With guaranteed van finance it simply means that we can obtain the acceptance from the finance company on your vehicle amount and then we will source your new vehicle and arrange for it to be delivered to your door. It couldn’t be easier to carry out – you also get to choose which van you have as we wont try to force you into something that happens to be lying around.

A guaranteed van loan would mean that you could search for the van that you would like and MSG would arrange for the dealership to be paid for the vehicle. The only real difference with this form of finance and a usual van loan is that you would be required to make what is called an initial payment before delivery. Typically this is set at four times whatever your monthly amount is and your regular lower monthly instalment would begin in month two. With a MSG contract though you would also get you road tax supplied every year as the finance company retains ownership. All you need to do is insure the vehicle and drive it.

Remember – we can help even if you have bad credit such as CCJ’s, bankruptcy,Iva or defaults or even if you are a new start business and have No credit rating. These are all day to day reason we have customer comming to us for help with their van lease and finance needs.A non status van lease is available immediatly and you can be driving your new vehicle as early as the following week.

The car finance and guaranteed car loan packages that we provide is for all makes and models – so you are free to simply tell us which car you would like and we will check our stock list and finance companies stock to see what we can offer. Dependent on how much information you provide to us we can also source brand new vehicles for you or ones with low delivery miles.Taking out a car lease, car finance or a car loan through MSG is possible even if you have had repayment difficulties in the past, have adverse information such as county court judgements registered, previous bankruptcy, bad credit, are on an IVA or even if you have no credit rating.

Car finance is one way to describe a method of purchasing your new car and will involve an initial payment or deposit and a fixed term of monthly repayments. With the type of industry we operate in the finance company will usually retain ownership until you have made the last repayment. The benefit this offers the customer is that because the lenders name is on the log book then they are responsible to pay for the road tax every year too! We are able to offer you a guaranteed car loan service where you can tell us about a car that you have seen and we will arrange for the money to be paid direct to purchase it for you. We are able to loan any amount above £6000 and have funded purchases for cars ranging from Ford Ka’s right upto an Audi R8.To obtain the guaranteed car loan we will ask for some basic documentation from you so that we can get the lender to agree to the amount.

There are two main ways in which our car finance systems operate depending on the profile that you present or the level of bad credit that you have showing on your file. One of our funders is able to offer guaranteed car finance to a very high percentage of the population and the main criteria is that you need to provide a copy of your driving licence and proof of where you live. With this company we can provide you with a list of stock cars and monthly rental prices to choose from.If there is a car you like then you simply take the vehicle over a 5 year period and then it is yours to keep. This is a very simple option for motoring and the car finance is as close to 100% acceptance rate as we can get.

Another option for car finance will be to use another of our funders who can give you a number of different options. You can take a car on a straight forward purchase plan and make regualr fixed monthly repayments over a 5 year period and as before retain ownership. The second choice is to be set up on a lease purchase – this means that you have 4 years with fixed repayments and then an optional balloon payment at the end that you can make if you want to keep the car. This can be seen as a guaranteed car loan as with this type of car finance the choice is yours though and you can just give the keys back and order a new one.For this lender we will require a little bit more information that with the first choice as we will need to obtain a copy of your driving licence and passport (for id) and 2 months bank statements that show your wages being paid in and also any mortgage or rent going out too. We would also require a proof of your home address such as a utility bill.

Which ever car finance option you select we are here to help you find a funding for your new car. Please give us a call and we will run through your options over the phone. Even if you have been rejected or declined for a car loan previously or have been unsucessfull in a car leasing or car finance application please get in touch. We are able to supply guaranteed car loans, guaranteed car finance and Non status contract hire to customers even with bad credit on their credit report, adverse information such as CCJ’s , bankruptcy, IVA, defaults or even if you have no credit rating.
