Car finance with bad credit customer? Latest Spy Photo of Porsche Macan to consider.
The photo above shows how the latest Porsche Macan may eventually look like when it makes full production for Car Finance With Bad credit customers at a later date. Though still a test model, the photo of the Porsche Macan was caught whilst doing test runs at the revered Nurburgring (sort of like the benchmark for every production car). The new Audi Q5-based Macan will roll out of showrooms in October 2013.
The Macan mules were spotted last time doing test runs with Audi Q5 bodywork. However, this time, the test car is seen using the body of the production ready car. You could clearly see influences of the Porsche Cayenne on the vehicle, making the Macan look just like a mini Cayenne.
The underpinning of the Macan is derived from the Volkswagen’s next generation MLB platform, meant for bigger front and four-wheel drive SUVs. Audi has been actively involved in the development of the platform, thus it goes without saying that the MLB platform will only be found in the coming Q5.
The top-spec Macan Turbo will be powered by a new V6, outputting 370bhp with 400lbft for a neck breaking speed. Hanging off the side of the engine are two turbochargers. The turbocharged Macan has its eyes set on the BMW X3 and the Range Rover Evoque, and it will also be faster and a lot more agile than the two.
Another two four cylinder – petrol and diesel – engines will be joining the range. This is the first time for four potter engines to make an appearance in a Porsche since the 1995 Porsche 968.
The 2.0-liter 220bhp petrol engine is enough to bring the Macan from 0-62mph in just 7.5 seconds, all the way up to a 143mph top speed. The diesel is a 2.0-liter 190bhp engine.
There will also be three more V6 engines offered – a 3.6-liter V6 with 295bhp, a diesel 3.0-liter V6 with 250bhp and also a hybrid model backed up by Audi’s twin-turbo diesel 3.0-liter 309bhp V6.
