BMW Reveals Facelifted 7 Series, Now Equipped With New Engines and Safety Gadgets

Car Lease Bad Credit the new BMW 7 Series

BMW has just revealed images and also details of the upcoming face lifted range of the 7 Series which is ideal for a Car Lease Bad Credit contract. The change is not limited to the appearance of the car, but the 7 series will also be offered with more efficient engines as well as featuring additional revolutionary technologies.

New LED headlights adorn the car together with a sleeker kidney grille with less slats. The bumper is redesigned to aid the intake of air and also channel it more efficiently to the front wheels. A chrome strip lines the rear bumper.

Changes are more apparent inside. Front seats are now thinner and additional sound-proofing is added the B and C pillars of the car. The stereo is upgrade with 16 Bang and Olufsen speakers. There are also floating 9.2” monitors placed in the headrests so rear passengers can have a bit of entertainment – but only of you opt for the Rear Seat Entertainment package.

There is also the optional 10.25” screen that replaces the old instrument cluster. The neat thing about this is that it changes its appearance according to the driving mode you are currently in, be it Eco Pro, Comfort or Sport.

The new 7 Series models now receive as standard eight-speed automatic transmission. Technologies such as stop-start, brake energy recovery and electric power steering also feature.

The engine range has also be tweaked. The flagship model 760i continues to be powered by the 536bhp 6.0-liter V12. The 750i gets a new engine – a 4.4-liter V8 outputting 444bhp to propel the car from 0-62 in just 4.8 seconds while maintaining a 32.9mpg – a marked improvement over the older model.

A choice of two six-cylinder engines are also available. The 740i is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine outputting 316bhp, returning 35.8mpg and emitting 184g/km of CO2. The ActiveHybrid 7 has dropped the V8 and is downsized to the same 3.0-liter engine, but it is hooked up to a 54bhp electric motor for a combined 349bhp. The hybrid car makes more power but consumes 14% less fuel than the 740i.

There also be two powerful diesel engines on offer. The 730d is powered by a 254bhp engine, emitting only 148g/km of CO2 making it the cleanest car in the luxury saloon class. The 740d is powered by a 309bhp engine. Despite producing 7bhp more than its predecessor, it is also 17% more efficient. Car Lease Bad Credit is an ideal choice for customers who are aware that they have some adverse information stored on their credit report and so cant go down the mainstream route.

The safety technology in the 7 Series is astounding. It is equipped with a new system that detects pedestrians in the car and then highlights them. This technology is unique to BMW. The navigation system is more efficient and also comes with sharper graphics and 3D mode. The boot opens itself when you wave your foot under the rear bumper.

The new BMW 7 Series will roll out of UK showrooms on the 22nd of September year, with price starting at £58,115 for the entry level 730d SE all the way to £104,050 for the 760Li M Sport. Customers of MSG can look to either order a brand new example and make up the difference with a higher deposit or simply wait until values reduce slightly with used or pre registered motors instead.
