Bad Credit vehicles -Hyundai Launches New and Improved Santa Fe
Hyundai have just revealed a brand new version of their Santa FE SUV model and the good news is, it will reach the shores of UK in October with prices starting from £25,495 making it a potential choice for those looking for a decent value Bad Credit Car Lease vehicle to order.
The Santa Fe first debuted in the US at the April New York Motor show in the US Specification but when it comes to the UK though, the Santa Fe will get a brand new look with a bigger, more spacious interior as well as a diesel engine which is more efficient. There is also the option of front wheel drive which does seem to be very popular with the UK market who dont really have the need for the full All wheel drive set up but are attracted to the increased safety aspect of the SUV.
Just last year alone, 4250 units of the current Santa Fe were sold in the UK, making Britain the largest market in the Europe. The new Santa Fe aims to better that record and with a new look, more features and better efficiency, the Santa Fe competes head to head against the latest Mitsubishi Outlander which is fresh from an update and popular with contract hire and car lease customers too.
The only thing that remains the same from the current Santa Fe model now is the 2.2-liter diesel engine which outputs 197bhp, and this engine is also the only engine offered by Hyundai. However, the fuel economy is slightly better, with the mpg figures rising to 46.3mpg from 41.5mpg. CO2 emissions figures are also improved, with the engine now emitting only 159g/km of CO2 compared to the previous 176g/km. These figures are achieved with the six-speed manual four-wheel drive gearbox.
There is also an option for a front-wheel drive model which brings the CO2 figures down and more and also lets the car drive farther for the same amount of fuel. Fuel consumption is improved to 47.9mpg and emissions dropped to 155g/km.
The new look of the Santa Fe is quite different from the sturdy appearance of the current Santa Fe. Despite that, Hyundai says the SUV still retains its rugged look and the car still comes equipped with a lot of standard equipments including air-conditioning, 18” wheels, steering wheel wrapped in leather trimming and Bluetooth connectivity. The Santa Fe also comes with the a new safety technology unique to Hyundai – the ‘active bonnet’ which upon detection of pedestrian collision, the bonnet is raised by 60mm.
Hyundai anticipates the mid-level Premium trim to be the best-selling model. The Premium trim comes equipped with climate control, satellite navigation as well as leather seats. The range topping Premium SE trim adds to the car a panoramic sunroof and bigger 19” wheels.
The pricing for the Santa Fe starts at £25,495 for the entry level Spec trim with five seats and front wheel drive up to £28,290 for the four wheel drive model.
