Alfa Romeo to launch two SUV models for US market

alfa-romeo-suv bad credit

Not normally a company you would associate with bulky 4×4 Sports utility vehicles but Alfa Romeo have announced that they are to use the basics of the Jeep Grand Cherokee model to produce a seconds SUV for an American market launch in 2013. Already underway is a BMW X3 sized offering using the Fiat C-Segment platform and so this latest addition is lining up against the X5. The Jeep model was produced by Daimler-Chrysler and also features aspects of Mercedes M, R and GL class just to confuse matters! Alfa Romeos will be retailed through Chrysler dealerships with separate showrooms based within the premises. I guess we will have to wait and see as who would have thought that Porsche could have made the Cayenne model self sufficient and with SUV models being all the rage with options including the Audi Q5, Honda CRV, Nissan Qashqai etc all selling in massive numbers Alfa could be onto a big hit if they make sure it Carry’s the Italian brands styling well enough.
