The best way to understand how our guaranteed car finance system works is to give us a call on the number above but it is a relatively straight forward process. Once you are ready to proceed with the car leasing or car loan we ask you to complete a short proposal form including your address history for the last 5 years, employment information and bank details. This is required for the finance company to underwrite you and confirm that they are happy to purchase the vehicle on your behalf. At this stage please remember that we are able to get an approval for as near as anyone and the reason we need your details is so that the Motor finance company can decide on the amount they can allow you to have for the vehicle depending on both your circumstances such as monthly wage and other factors such as length of time at home address or how recent your last credit issues were. There’s no need to worry about previous problems showing up as this is expected but is best to be open about these issues as this will all be shown on your credit file anyway.
For some of our funders we may require 3 months bank statements and a copy of your licence. This is so they can see that you have regular wages going in the bank and can afford your choice of car and to also confirm who you are.
The funder will then come back to us and advise if they are able to provide a vehicle of your choice or the amount that we have requested on you guaranteed car loan application. We can then confirm the monthly cost, car spec, colour etc and all you have to do is sign the finance agreements that are sent to you to sign. On every guaranteed car finance deal you will need to pay an upfront initial payment before your car will be delivered and this is usually around 4 times your monthly amount. Your car is then prepared for sale and delivered to your door – one month afterwards your regular direct debit will begin to leave your account.
