A Faster Version of the Audi TT-RS with an Extra 20bhp Now Available

A Faster Version of the Audi TT-RS on Non Status Car Leasing

A faster and more powerful Audi TT is available for those looking for a Sporty choice for Non Status Car Leasing, and it is known as the Audi TT RS plus. The plus is available from £48,945 rising upto £52,265 for an automatic version.

The plus, which is the most powerful Audi TT is powered by a 2.5-liter five cylinder turbocharged engine which outputs 355bhp – outpacing the standard TT RS by about 20bhp. The TT RS plus also sees an increase in torque from 450Nm to 465Nm.

The TT RS plus is available in two body styles: coupe and roadster so take your pick depending on what you want the car to do but our moneys on the ‘Hardtop’ version to help retain the rigidity that the body shell will require to handle this amount of power. The engine tweaks on the TT RS plus helps the car achieve a higher top speed of 174mph – a 19mph improvement over the standard TT RS. The TT RS plus Coupe is also quicker to hit 62mph from a standstill with 4.1 seconds when equipped with the S-tronic gearbox and 4.3 seconds when equipped with the six speed manual gearbox.

The TT-RS plus Roadster is just slightly slower than the Coupe with 4.2 seconds to hit 62mph using the S-tronic transmission and 4.4 seconds with the six-speed manual. Still, the Roadster is faster than the standard TT-RS.

The TT-RS plus comes equipped with a set of exclusive 19” ‘Rotor’ alloy wheels, aluminum grille in matte paint with mesh inserts, sporty carbon fiber mirrors and also a carbon fiber engine cover. The TT-RS plus is also fitted with a larger exhaust system which previously only comes offered as an option on the standard TT-RS. Finishing the sporty exterior are some unique black oval exhaust tail pipes.

Inside the TT-RS plus, you will find a lot more standard equipment like iPod and Bluetooth connectivity as well as full satellite navigation. These goodies usually come as a £1,525 Technology Pack option but they are now fitted in the plus as standard equipment.

For its steep pricing, we’re not so sure which audience Audi is targeting at as a more serious performance car can be had at its price. A used Porsche 911 or the super fast R35 GTR can be bought for not much more – and these cars are also a lot faster than a TT-RS plus.

But if you are a die-hard Audi TT fan and you are dead set on getting one, you can put down your order now and get your finance approved from MSG Cars – even if you have poor credit and deliveries will start in the Summer.
